Shivnarine Chanderpaul, the West Indian cricket legend, once went 1051 balls without being dismissed. This remarkable feat occurred during a 5-match Test Series against India in 2002, held in the West Indies. Over the course of three consecutive innings, Chanderpaul remained unbeaten, achieving two centuries and a fifty. However, his streak came to an end in the first innings of the fifth Test match when he was caught behind after scoring 58 runs. In recognition of his outstanding performance throughout the series, Chanderpaul was awarded the Player of the Series title. To date, no other player has managed to match or surpass this record.
