Video of great white shark thrashing around in shallow water
A great white shark had to be euthanised after being washed up on a beach in Australia.
A video shows the four-meter-long shark thrashing along the shore in the shallow water near Kingscliff beach on the Tweed coast in New South Wales.
Lifeguards had been tracking its movements until it beached itself on Monday.
A veterinary squad from Sea World on the Gold Coast were soon called to the scene and found the shark struggling.
The shark was then sadly euthanised and a bulldozer was brought in to safely move it off the sand.
