Ramadan not an obstacle to donating blood, says Health Minister

Malaysia urgently needs at least 2,000 blood bags to maintain a safe blood supply, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Dzulkefly Ahmad.

During the inauguration of the St. John Ambulance Malaysia Blood Donation Suite at 1 Utama shopping center on Saturday (Mar 2), he added that there are no restrictions on blood donation during the Ramadan month.
