00:00 I have to keep reminding myself like, "Oh, I'm nominated. That's fun."
00:05 Hi, I'm America Pereira and I am nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
00:11 I think what's really exciting is how many new faces there are.
00:22 I thought Lily was unbelievable and so glad for her to be included in that category.
00:28 Also, Greta Lee, who didn't get a nomination, but I just love to Pass the Live so much and I'm so
00:34 glad the movie's being honored and that Celine won the DGA Award last night. And yeah, I mean,
00:40 Daniel Brooks and Davine Joy. It's amazing to see how much new, how many new faces are included in
00:48 this conversation. It really means a lot to a lot of people. That's kind of such a fun part of this.
00:57 I think that it's respectful to be prepared. It's a possibility, right? Even if it's unlikely,
01:03 it's possible you might have to stand on that stage. So I think it'd be insane not to have
01:08 some bullet points, you know? You never want to be the person who forgets to thank your husband
01:13 or your agent. I feel like there'd be so much regret looking back of like, "Damn, I really
01:18 should have prepared for that," you know? But I just think that anyone who's nominated should
01:23 have some level of preparation, but that's how I would do it.
01:26 The "Bring Snacks" reminder is a good one. And also Advil for the feet and in the heels.
01:40 And I've had a couple conversations with people. There's some, you know, juries out on like,
01:44 when to start drinking and how much to drink and like how to pace yourself to really make it through
01:49 the night. At the Globes, Margot and I took a shot of tequila on the red, at the top of the red
01:55 carpet. And that had never been my go-to, but I have to say it was kind of nice.
02:00 When we went to the Oscars for "How to Train Your Dragon" both times, that was amazing. That was
02:10 like being a plus one. You know, I was a small part of a massive team of people who made this
02:15 movie and I got to be there to celebrate it, but no pressure was on me and no one expected us to
02:20 win Best Feature Film. This year feels different. I have to keep reminding myself like, "Oh,
02:26 I'm nominated. That's fun."
02:29 I love hearing about people's children. I always go, I feel like when you talk about kids,
02:37 it just like takes you out of the madness of being in the middle of a very stressful environment.
02:42 So yeah, I think go-to is, are the kids.
02:47 It's home with my kids and my hope is that there's like sleep involved, lots of sleep involved,
02:57 and just being home honestly, like chilling out, coming down from this crazy, fun, wild ride.
