Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) has announced a 50 per cent water cut in the area. The water cut has been announced due to the fire which broke out at a pumping station in the Pise region of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on February 26 evening. This has significantly impacted water supply across several parts of Mumbai. BMC administration urged citizens to cooperate and utilise water resources judiciously.
