00:18 PhilHealth President and CEO Emanuel Ledesma said
00:22 this is in line with the list they received from Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin.
00:28 Ledesma also explained that aside from the hike based on the law,
00:32 the President is just studying whether the hike should be suspended or not.
00:37 That is why it has already been announced through a high premium contribution.
00:42 More money will be allocated to PhilHealth that can be used for providing services.
00:47 Meanwhile, according to PCO Secretary Cheloy Garafil,
00:51 the President has not yet made a decision, especially since he is still reviewing the 5% premium hike.
00:55 Maybe this will help PhilHealth members in their benefits and coverage through the premium hike.
