Carbon Fiber, New Wheels and Lowered Suspension , New BMW M2 by Vorsteiner

Vorsteiner Brings a Crazy Innovation to the BMW M2.

In every respect, the second-generation BMW M2 is an excellent sports car to drive and is even better than its predecessor. But the jury is still out on the exterior design, with many being highly critical of its design, including famous car designer Frank Stephenson. This is where Vorsteiner comes into play.

The tuner offers striking body kits and styling changes for many models and has unveiled its full carbon fiber aero program for the M2. This is one of the most dramatic renditions of the new sports car we've seen, and although we think it looks great, it's definitely not what we'd call "sexy."

The changes start with the introduction of the VRS carbon fiber aero splitter, priced at $1,695. Although this is a lot for a splitter, it looks great and gives the car an extra level of aggression. Vorsteiner then designed a new carbon fiber hood that would set shoppers back $4,495; this hood has some air vents to keep everything nice and cool.

The changes continue on the sides, where BMW's carbon fiber vented front fenders and side skirts are sold as a package for $5,494. Our favorite part of the Vorsteiner package is the new carbon fiber trunk lid, which features a distinctive ducktail spoiler and costs $3,495. Rounding out this bright orange example's upgrades is a $2,495 carbon fiber rear diffuser.

Any BMW M2 owner who chooses to equip their car with Vorsteiner parts would be wise to choose one of the many forged wheels the tuner has to offer. These wheels not only look better than standard ones, but they also save weight.
