A man has been arrested after being found in a car that had flipped onto its side in Armley. Police were called to the scene at around half past ten pm after a Vauxhall Astra collided with a parked car on Congress Mount. The man was checked over in hospital before being taken into police custody.

Next - A host of key bus services are set to be increased across West Yorkshire this week. Investment from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority means fourteen services will be increased including in Wakefield where they'll be eight services seeing evening frequencies uplifted from one bus an hour to one every thirty minutes.

And finally - A second-generation Leeds ice cream man has scooped a top national award. Mr Whippy Leeds also known as Ian Smith, who runs his ice cream van out of Cross Gates was handed the accolade for his soft serve ice cream at this year's Ice Cream and Artisan Food Show.
