"Iwájú" is an original cartoon series set in a future Lagos, Nigeria. The thrilling coming-of-age drama follows Tola, a young girl from a luxurious island, and her closest friend, Kole, a self-taught software whiz, as they uncover the mysteries and dangers concealed in their respective worlds. Kugali filmmakers, including director Olufikayo Ziki Adeola, production designer Hamid Ibrahim, and cultural consultant Toluwalakin Olowofoyeku, create a unique journey into the world of "Iwájú," bursting with unique visual elements and technological advancements inspired by the spirit of Lagos. Christina Chen of Disney Animation produces the series, which has a screenplay by Adeola and Halima Hudson. Voices in "Iwájú" include Simisola Gbadamosi, Dayo Okeniyi, Femi Branch, Siji Soetan, and Weruche Opia.
