After the events of his previous MCU adventure, Peter Parker's Spider-Man may receive a new love interest in Marvel Studios' upcoming Spider-Man 4. Tom Holland debuted as the MCU's Peter Parker in Captain America: Civil War, but went on to helm his own solo trilogy, in which several romances were introduced for the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Laura Harrier's Liz was the subject of Parker's desire in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but Zendaya's MJ Watson has been his most consistent love interest, with the pair establishing their relationship in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and continuing into Phase 4's tragic Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Not much is yet known about the storyline of Marvel Studios' upcoming Spider-Man 4, though after the intense ending of No Way Home, Spider-Man 4 is expected to introduce a new love interest for Peter Parker. In the MCU's Phase 4, Doctor Strange cast a spell to make everyone forget Peter Parker, and though Parker promised to make MJ and best friend Ned Leeds remember him, he decided not to trigger their memories in Spider-Man: No Way Home's emotional ending. This effectively ended his relationship with MJ, leaving the door open for new romances to emerge in the MCU's future.
