Hard rock-psych group Orange Wedge from Baltimore were created around 1968. The band had some success in the campuses and clubs of Baltimore which motivated them in 1972 to record in the studios of Aebre Flite Recordings and self-produce 500 copies of their first album "Wedge". The album was sold during their concerts and was intended to be sent to publishing houses, bur things went otherwise, and after a few years Orange Wedge attempted to self-produce a second effort. Strong mix of guitar driven hard rock and psychedelic elements, lots of fuzz, pumping bass, keyboards and cardboard drums, evolving into lengthy, jam styles tracks. The group disbanded in 1975.
