During questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), comedian and actor Kapil Sharma alleged that car designer Dilip Chhabria, imprisoned in 2020 for fraudulent activities, engaged in illicit methods to extort money from him. Sharma further claimed that the owner of DC Motors attempted to evade responsibility for failing to deliver a customised vehicle. As part of the charge sheet filed against Chhabria, the Enforcement Directorate has also taken the statement of comedian Kapil Sharma's official representative, Mohammad Hamid.
