Tesla Recalls , Another 2.2 Million Vehicles.
The vehicles are being recalled
in the U.S. due to the font size on the
warning lights being too small, CNN reports. .
The National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) discovered the issue while
it was conducting a routine audit of the vehicles. .
Warning lights with a smaller font size can make critical safety information on the instrument panel difficult to read, increasing the risk of a crash, Via the NHTSA's recall notice.
Tesla said that it has not received any reports of crashes or injuries resulting from the issue. .
An over-the-air software update will be implemented to fix the problem, CNN reports.
Included in the recall are the Model X and
Model Y up to the year 2024, the Model S and
Model 3 up to the year 2023 and the new Cybertruck. .

In December, Tesla issued an over-the-air recall to limit its Autopilot feature.
Last year, Tesla recalled thousands of vehicles with the "full self-driving" feature after the NHTSA found that the cars didn't properly obey traffic laws.
Such violations included "traveling straight
through an intersection while in a turn-only lane,
entering a stop sign-controlled intersection
without coming to a complete stop,".
