Supreme Court Refuses To Hear Hemant Soren’s Plea Challenging Arrest By ED, Asks Him To Approach HC

On February 2, the Supreme Court of India refused to hear a plea filed by former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He filed a plea in the apex court challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate. The top court asked Soren to approach the Jharkhand High Court. JMM leader Hemant Soren was arrested late on January 31 in a money laundering case linked to a land scam case.
