Delhi Weather: Fog Covers National Capital, Low Visibility Disrupts Flight And Train Services

Residents of Delhi have been witnessing extremely cold weather this year. On February 2, shallow fog covered the city. Visibility was affected in several areas, disrupting several flight and train services. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a layer of fog covered isolated areas of Delhi and East Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, dense fog was observed in isolated pockets of Haryana, Rajasthan, and Jharkhand. At 11:30 pm on February 1, the visibility was recorded at 500 metres in Safdarjung and East-Uttar Pradesh, reported ANI. The visibility came down to 50 metres in several areas of Haryana.
