Elon Musk's neurotech company Neuralink implanted its brain-computer interface device into a human patient for the first time on Monday. The patient is reportedly "recovering well" after the procedure, according to a post by Musk on X. Neuralink's device aims to help patients with severe paralysis control external devices with just their thoughts. The company received FDA approval for its first clinical trial involving humans in May and began recruiting patients last fall.
