Trump Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for Fourth Time. GOP Congresswoman Claudia Tenney Cites 2020 Abraham Accords
  • 3 months ago
Republican Congresswoman Claudia Tenney nominated Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, citing Trump's role in brokering the 2020 Abraham Accords between Israel, Bahrain and the UAE which aimed to normalize relations. Morocco and Sudan later also signed similar agreements through Trump's efforts. Tenney argued the Accords have not received the recognition they deserve, unlike past Middle East peace deals. Trump has previously received three Nobel Peace Prize nominations for his Middle East work. The winner will be announced in October.
