American jazz-funk-fusion band active from late 1970s to early 1980s. Stuff developed a danceable rhythm and blues and fun sound. Members of Studd were among the most soughter after sessions musicians of the era, playing with Lennon, Paul Simon, Aretha Franklin and supported Joe Cocker during his world tour to promote his "Stingray" album. Stuff released five albums between 1975 and 1980. "Live Stuff" was recorded live at Yubinchokin Hall in Tokyo, Japan on 20th November 1978. The album was first released in Japan and one year later in Europe.
