DIY Pennywise: The Making of a Life-Size Diorama
  • 3 months ago
Are you a fan of Stephen King's "It" and the infamous Pennywise? In this video, we'll be taking on the challenge of creating a life-size replica of Pennywise's head from the movie. We'll guide you through the process step-by-step, from sculpting the base head shape to adding the intricate details that make Pennywise so recognizable. First, we'll make a base for the sewer manhole using wooden boards and hard foam. We'll use putty to hold the parts together and give them a smoother look. After painting, we'll add the sides for our construction. Then, we'll move on to the Pennywise himself. We'll cut the head shape out of Styrofoam, add a clown mask, smooth it out a bit and add an extra layer of skin to give the blank a more realistic look. Next, we'll create the eyes by making a ball of plasticine, adding a retina, and put it into the sculpture. We'll also paint and add hair, making sure to do a nice hairstyle! Finally, we'll make clothes out of pieces of fabric and add quite a bit of doodles, and then we place Pennywise's head in our first construction. And there, our scene is ready! We hope you enjoy watching our work and it inspires you to make your own. If you liked our work, be sure to rate this video with a like and leave a comment!
