CIA's Spy Recruitment Targets Russian Elites Disaffected with Kremlin Regime

The CIA has released a third online video aimed at recruiting Russian intelligence officials and other elites disaffected with the Kremlin regime. Speaking at an event, CIA Deputy Director David Cohen said the videos have been "quite successful" in making contact with potential sources inside Russia. The latest video features a fictional Russian official citing Tolstoy and hoping to secure a better future in Russia, with instructions to contact the CIA securely online. The two prior videos launched in 2022 and 2023 have been viewed over 2.1 million times on platforms like Telegram, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
