Three women claiming to be the fastest female trio to row across the Atlantic have raised more than £80,000 for charity.Hatty Carder, Bobbie Mellor and Katherine Antrobus, better known as WaveBreakers, overcame a capsize and endured tumultuous weather to row across the Atlantic in 40 days, 10 hours and 51 minutes.The trio travelled for 3,000 miles from La Gomera in the Canary Islands, Spain on December 13 and finished in the Caribbean island of Antigua on Monday.The three women set up a fundraiser to support WWF and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) raising £84,000 for the charities.Source: PA, World’s Toughest Row
