Birmingham headlines 24 January: Two teenage boys arrested after Victoria Square murder

Detectives have arrested two 15 year-old boys following the murder of Muhammad Hassam Ali in Victoria Square. The 17-year-old was rushed to hospital after the stabbing on Saturday but sadly died later on.
An airline that runs East European flights from Birmingham Airport has paid out £1.24 million in refunds following action by the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
