A tragic incident in Canada's far north, where a small commuter plane crashed shortly after takeoff, claimed at least six lives. The incident occurred at around 8:50 am local time on Tuesday when a Jetstream twin turboprop airliner, operated by Northwestern Air, went down just 1.1 kilometres from the end of the runway in Fort Smith. The plane was on a charter, carrying workers to a remote mine.
