Hip-hop living legend Lil Wayne got a huge co-sign from his biggest fan on Father’s Day.
Wayne’s daughter Reginae Carter, an actress and reality TV star, posted a special message for her famous father on Sunday, giving him the coveted title of rap’s greatest of all time.
The 22-year-old Reginae is Lil Wayne’s first-born child, entering the world just before his career took off with Cash Money Records and the Hot Boyz. Wayne was 16 when Reginae was born. Her mother, Toya, is also a reality TV star and fashion entrepreneur.
Lil Wayne has been in rap’s “GOAT” discussion since he hit his prime in the mid-2000’s. The five-time Grammy winner has five No. 1 albums and is still one of the most sought-after features in the industry.
Wayne has a big summer ahead, as he will headline the UPROAR music festival in Los Angeles in August, one of the largest hip-hop live music events since the COVID pandemic began.
He is also reportedly working on a new album scheduled to drop later this year.
