Lil Reese was shot over the weekend in his Chicago hometown, which didn’t stop rap rival Tekashi 6ix9ine from relentlessly trolling him about the life-threatening incident.

The controversial hip-hop star went to Instagram to mock Lil Reese after rumors surfaced that the shooting happened when Reese tried to steal a car.
Tekashi jokingly asked fans to chip in and help buy Reese his own car. He re-posted old social media videos of Reese driving, and later posted a video of himself singing the lyrics from Akon’s hit song “Locked Up” about having a car stolen.

The feud between Tekashi and Lil Reese is connected to Tekashi’s longtime rivalry with Chicago hip-hop superstars Chief Keef and Lil Durk.

Tekashi admitted in court that he once ordered a hit on Chief Keef, and he’s slept with Chief Keef’s baby mama. The chart-topping artist has mocked Lil Durk by making fun of Durk’s friend King Von after Von was killed in November.

Lil Reese has threatened Tekashi multiple times online.

Lil Reese was last reported to be in stable condition following the shooting, and those close to him deny he was involved in any attempted car theft.
