00:11 [Music]
00:13 The household has been in Perl for 11 years.
00:17 But, only recently, he became a member of the Pag-ibig Fund.
00:21 He learned this when he joined the celebration of Household Day
00:27 organized by the Labor Department.
00:29 When the future comes, after two years,
00:32 we can avail of a housing loan through Pag-ibig.
00:36 Aside from this, he also wanted to add his knowledge.
00:40 That's why he got used to massaging.
00:44 So that I can use this,
00:46 even if the employer is massaging,
00:48 it's a waste of income.
00:50 In the celebration of Household Day this month,
00:53 the importance of SSS, Pag-ibig, and Hill Health is being made known.
00:58 Based on the data of Dole,
01:00 of the 1.4 million households in the country,
01:05 83% of them have no benefits.
01:08 That's why this year, our focus is to have an advocacy campaign
01:12 together with the social protection agencies
01:16 to encourage all the employers of the households
01:19 to register their domestic workers.
01:23 There are also services of other government agencies,
01:27 like Dole,
01:29 which can increase the abilities of the household.
01:33 That's why Dole also provided skills training
01:36 like cutting hair, massaging, and many more.
01:40 What we want is that the households
01:43 can improve their abilities and skills
01:48 so that they can use this if they want to shift jobs.
01:52 The day of Household Day is celebrated every January 18
01:57 and all Dole offices across the country must be united
02:01 in following the Household Law.
02:04 But this year, the celebration is until the end of the month
02:08 to give the households a chance to join
02:12 on the day of the day of the rest of Saturday and Sunday.
02:16 It's important that the households join in on these occasions
02:21 because first of all, they need to know that they have rights
02:25 and benefits based on the law.
02:28 Here in the National Capital Region,
02:30 more than 17 households are united in joining
02:34 from the group of Centro ng Magkakaisa at Progresibong Manggagawa
02:40 at United Domestic Workers of the Philippines.
02:43 The 30 children of the households
02:47 who enjoyed the puppet show of the Philippine Information Agency
02:51 and film showing of the National Council for Children's Television
02:56 which is a part of the School Supplies and Goods,
