Queensland Premier Steven Miles will meet the chief executives of the big supermarkets chains over concerns consumers are paying too much at the checkout. Mr Miles has written to Coles, Woolworths, IGA, and Aldi requesting a meeting with their respective CEOs. He wants them to explain why farmers are getting paid less for their produce while customers are paying more at the supermarket.
