Trump Barred from Delivering Closing Argument in New York Fraud Trial
  • 3 months ago
Donald Trump will not be allowed to personally deliver a closing argument at his New York civil fraud trial on Thursday. The judge had imposed conditions on what Trump could say, including limiting it to facts in evidence and relevant law. Trump's lawyer did not agree to the conditions by the deadline, so the judge ruled Trump could not speak. The judge also denied a request from Trump's lawyer to postpone closing arguments until January 29th due to the death of Trump's mother-in-law.
