Anthony Scaramucci, founder and CEO of SkyBridge Capital, said 2023 was unexpectedly the best year on record for his hedge fund after "incrementally buying" Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana. Scaramucci said bumper returns in 2023 followed what had been a "very brutal" 2022 for crypto markets. Scaramucci commented after the US SEC approved the first bitcoin exchange-traded funds, which he believes is a "watershed moment" that will drive further adoption of cryptocurrencies.
