A case has been registered against 'Annapoorani' actor Nayanthara, the movie's director Nilesh Krishnaa, producers Jatin Sethi and R Ravindran, and Netflix India's content head Monika Shergill. The FIR was filed by the Hindu Sewa Parishad, which is a right-wing outfit in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur. It has accused the individuals of hurting religious sentiments, disrespecting Lord Ram, and promoting 'love jihad' through the film.
