The police station in Pakistan that recovers stolen mobiles - phones are returned to the owner through TCS.
Punjab released the e-gadget app in 2018, and Bhakkar police were able to retrieve stolen phones and mobiles that were utilized in the theft, thanks to this program. Speaking with UrduPoint anchor Muhammad Ali Behzad, district police officers from Bhakkar, Rizwan, and Naveed IT LAB, mentioned that they provide software to over 1500 stores in the city.
The information regarding who is buying and selling phones is registered by store owners. Over 150 mobile transactions using e-gadgets were completed in 2023. Recovered cell phones are returned to their original owners; if the owners are not in the city, the phones are returned after appropriate verification through TCS.
