AMC's Stock Falls to New Low, Extending Losing Streak Amid Debt Reduction Efforts
  • 4 months ago
AMC Entertainment hit a new record low closing price of $5.30 on Thursday, down 5% from the previous day. This marked the fourth consecutive day of losses for AMC's stock, its longest losing streak since early November. AMC has been issuing new shares in exchange for reducing its debt burden, which exceeded $5 billion in 2022. The company completed an at-the-market equity offering in December that raised around $350 million.
