Women's Safety Services of Central Australia receives $4 million federal funding boost

The only women's shelter in Alice Springs has been given a major funding boost amid desperate calls to improve services for victim-survivors of domestic, family and sexual violence in the Northern Territory. The 4.1-million-dollar investment will almost double the shelter's funding and mean it can employ six critical new staff.
