A motorist narrowly avoided being crushed when a large tree fell onto a road during Storm Henk.

The video, recorded by a CCTV camera in Bexleyheath, South-East London on December 2, shows the tree almost crushing the oncoming vehicle.

Luckily, the driver was able to stop just in time to avoid the tree, which fell across the road, blocking it completely.

The driver was forced to make a U-turn as the tree made the road impassable.
