A Happy New Year is guaranteed for theatre fans with the curtain raised on building work for an additional stage at Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens.
Construction on its highly-anticipated 150-seat Education Centre & Studio Theatre began as the venue staged Jack and the Beanstalk, which broke its pantomime box office records.
BUY TICKETS: Tickets for its 2024 panto, Snow White, are now for sale online at lowtherpavilion.co.uk, call 01253 794221 or buy in-person.
While the first performance of this year’s pantomime took to the stage, inside Lowther’s historic theatre, construction of the additional live performance area began at the back of the venue.
The steelwork for the building went up over the festive period.
Bosses say this new space will help to keep Lowther at the heart of the Fylde community for generations to come.
