South Korean Opposition Leader Lee Jae-Myung Stabbed In Neck During Public Appearance

South Korean opposition leader Lee Jae-myung was stabbed in the neck by an unidentified man during a visit to the city of Busan. Lee, 59, is the head of the main opposition Democratic Party. He was airlifted to a Seoul hospital and underwent emergency treatment. Police said the attacker approached Lee, saying he wanted an autograph, then stabbed him in the left side of the neck. The suspect, aged 67, was detained at the scene. Lee's condition is unknown, but he was conscious after the attack.
