Trouble starts when a circus tries to capture a monster worshiped by Japanese villagers, only to end up shooting its son by accident. Directed by Godzilla creator Ishirō Honda, "Half Human" was Toho's first attempt to capitalize on Godzilla's success with another monster movie; which would later lead to a shared universe of giant monsters including Mothra and Rodan.
