The new storms in Queensland could further delay efforts to reconnect power to properties effected by wild weather in recent days. About 28,000 homes and businesses are without electricity, most in south-east Queensland. Queensland premier Steven Miles says while going without power can be frustrating the safety of emergency crews is paramount.
