Scarlet Rivera - album Scarlet Rivera 1977

American violinist Scarlet Rivera (Donna Shea) is better known for her work with Bob Dylan, in particular on Dylan's album "Desire" and as part of the Rolling Thunder Revue. In 1977, River released her self-titled debut LP backed by a magnificent band. Especially keyboardist and composer Dominic Cardinale, who wrote or cowrote all but one of the six tracks. Of course Rivera's violin is central to the focus of the band and her playing is always on point, whether in establishing or embellishing melodies or in taking solo flights, with her typical gypsy touch.
