Well he's an adult haha. I'm all for taking care of your man, but that shouldn't be the first thing moms are worried about when meeting a potential partner for their son. My hubs and I are going on 20 years. And we both love cooking. Take care of the kids together, baths, bedtimes, events, sports. Its always been a team thing.

I am glad the son made her realise her fault. Children should be left alone to explore their life after they reach a certain age! . Take their own decisions etc. I have seen such situations in real life that made sons and mothers miserable!
