Santa's Sleigh visits Folly Hill on 2023 tour of Farnham
  • 4 months ago
Get ready to deck the halls and spread some festive cheer because Santa's sleigh is coming to Farnham, courtesy of a jolly partnership between Santa himself and Farnham Round Table in aid of Farnham Foodbank.
And this year, Santa's sleigh has gone electric, fittingly hitched to the back of a refurbished milk float and sprinkled with Elf Dust for that extra bit of magic.
Santa, Rudolph, and the whole Round Table gang are gearing up for a whirlwind tour of Farnham, and this year, you can track their every move with the high-tech Santa Tracker.
Visit https://farnhamroundtable.org.uk/events/santa-sleigh/ for a live map tracking Santa's sleigh as he makes his way through Farnham's streets between 6pm and 8pm on selected days in the run-up to Christmas.
Donations to the Foodbank can be made on the night, with the Round Table's elves rattling their buckets and beeping card readers, or donations can be made via the Round Table website.
This year's sleigh routes are also published on the Round Table website, as follows:
Tuesday, December 12: South Farnham
Wednesday, December 13: Folly Hill
Thursday, December 14: Rowledge
Tuesday, December 19: Chantries
Wednesday, December 20: Heath End
Thursday, December 21: Central Farnham
Santa and the elves won't be alone on their journey. Local schools and scout groups are joining in the merriment, spreading Christmas joy and collecting donations for the Foodbank too.
Your contributions, whether in cash on the night or online, will help Farnham Foodbank provide emergency food and support to those in crisis. It's not just about delivering presents; it's about spreading warmth and goodwill to those who need it most.
In 2021 and 2022, Farnham Round Table raised more than £4,000 for the Foodbank, and this year, they aim to make an even bigger impact.
