All 122 felines have been rescued by Silvana Valentino-Locke. She and her spouse share a four-bedroom house with 52 of them. Nine cat homes that they constructed in the garden and a neighboring field are home to the remaining cats.What their mealtime looks like as a family.
Twenty years ago, they converted their property into a cat sanctuary for these stray cats, now known as Romney House Cat Rescue.A total of 30 to 40 of these cats are awaiting adoption. Even two full-time staff have been employed to assist in caring for the kitties.

For the daily feeding, litter, and other expenditures associated with caring for 122 cats, an estimated £500 ($787) is spent each week.Tony, her spouse, fully supports all she does. "Every man who visits to adopt a cat always asks, 'have you got a husband?'" They find it hard to imagine someone could put up with so many cats, she told the Mirror.

Fortunately, Tony works long hours and is unaware of the extensive labor involved in caring for them.Tony, who has a courier business, pays for half of the yearly cost of £90,000 ($141,600), with the other funds coming from contributions, fundraising events, and their charity store.Their house is maintained immaculate from top to bottom despite having 122 cats. About an hour and a half passes. Every piece of flooring and furniture is vacuumed and mopped, she told the Mirror.It's a demanding, protracted job. The phone is always ringing with folks who need to save animals.
