00:03 - Because of the names and the price points.
00:04 So here we go, Joe, your thoughts on Christian McCaffrey.
00:08 10.5 on FanDuel, I had to see that, let my eyes adjust.
00:11 9.2 on DK for those that are new to the show.
00:15 Joe, we'll quickly tell you the major difference
00:17 between the two platforms
00:18 and then we'll go into the prices.
00:19 Joe, what's up?
00:21 - Well, look, there's no difference in the sense
00:23 that he is pricey today.
00:25 I mean, 10.5 is, whoo-wee,
00:28 that's a spicy meatball right there.
00:30 And he's pricey on both sides,
00:31 the full PPR on DK and the half over on FanDuel.
00:33 And looking at Christian McCaffrey,
00:35 I think in a cash game scenario,
00:37 where you wanna lock in a fair amount of floor points,
00:40 McCaffrey makes sense,
00:41 especially because there's gonna be some quarterbacks
00:42 that you could pay down for.
00:43 So it's okay.
00:45 It's actually easier to do, I think, on DraftKings
00:49 because of some of the prices of the tight ends
00:50 and the quarterbacks this particular week.
00:52 But again, I think it's a cash game play.
00:54 I don't know if you could put in enough things
00:55 around McCaffrey.
00:56 Now, he could break the slate
00:58 and have one of these three touchdown days.
01:00 But when you see Deebo Samuel getting carries too
01:02 and some of the touchdown equity he has,
01:04 George Kittle always has touchdown equity too.
01:06 The reason you're getting this price
01:07 is because the last time he saw Seattle
01:09 a couple of weeks ago on Thanksgiving, he put up 28 points.
01:12 Now, he could very well do that again,
01:13 but still that would not be three times this value of 10.5.
01:16 So I'm not trying to split hairs here
01:18 'cause I don't have any left.
01:20 But if you have a situation where you're trying to get
01:23 to two and a half value, we'll probably get that.
01:25 If you're gonna get to three, it's gonna be asking a lot,
01:28 even if Christian McCaffrey,
01:30 and he looked fantastic last week.
01:31 There's also that circumstance too,
01:32 where there's a little bit of an emotional letdown,
01:34 I think, after last week's game.
01:35 Not to say that the 49ers are in danger here
01:37 of losing necessarily to the Seattle Seahawks,
01:40 but the Seahawks did look really competitive
01:42 and they let it all hang out there with DK Metcalf
01:45 against the Dallas Cowboys last week.
01:46 So maybe a team that's kind of playing a little fast
01:50 and loose lately with nothing to lose,
01:51 that's a dangerous team,
01:52 especially coming off the other side here
01:55 with the San Francisco 49ers
01:56 of a very emotionally involved contest,
02:00 very physical contest against the Eagles.
02:02 And now you come back home,
02:03 they know the conquering heroes and that's great and all.
02:05 But look, for McCaffrey, I think it's a cash game play.
02:07 I think for tournaments, it's really hard though
02:09 to get the kind of value around it at wide receiver
02:12 to make it all work at the end of the day,
02:13 'cause it is extremely cost prohibitive.
