Seven wonders of the world
The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World is an honorary title for the magnificent constructions of classical antiquity. This is where the Seven Modern Wonders of the World and the Seven Natural Wonders finally emerged. Many writers have referred to these impressive and sometimes stunning original seven buildings or works of art from classical antiquity. All of the classic (antique) Seven Wonders of the World lie within the borders of Alexander the Great's empire with the help of the Greeks. Most, but not all, were built by the Greeks.
Of the original Seven Wonders of the World, only one is still standing: the Pyramid of Khufu, which is also the oldest Wonder of the World structure.
