David Raya is at Fault for TWO Luton Goals as Howlers from Arsenal Goalkeeper to Take a Shock Lead

David Raya has been under immense scrutiny since replacing Aaron Ramsdale between the sticks and he'll be under even more after he was at fault for two of Luton's goals on Tuesday night.

The Gunners were leading 2-1 at the break but quickly lost their lead for the second time on the night and the second time from a corner.

And all eyes were on Raya after he flapped at the cross, allowing Elijah Adebayo to head home with ease.

And things got even worse for the Spaniard as he allowed Ross Barkley's tame finish to creep under him and give the home side a shock lead minutes later.

The Englishman managed to drive through into the box on the left but his low left-footed strike was close to Raya and lacked power.

Speaking on the second goal, match commentator Ally McCoist said: 'horrible for the keeper. Horrible. Ross Barkley and Luton won’t mind though. Neither will Rob Edwards.

'I thought he [Raya] Should have done better on the second goal, but he should have done better on the third goal.

'It is close to him but he’s got to be saving that mate. You have to be saving that. Just thought it was great strength from Barkley.'

Mikel Arteta brought in Raya from Brentford in the summer and made the controversial decision to make him the No 1 in place of Aaron Ramsdale.

The move has divided supporters and Tuesday's events will only serve to intensify the debate.
