Festive shoppers are being urged to be careful after a family were targeted by pickpockets at Glasgow’s St Enoch’s Christmas Markets.

The victims were browsing stalls when a woman, who looked to be pregnant, bumped into them and put her arm in their bag.

They then saw the woman later on, elsewhere in the city and she no longer looked pregnant.

Next up, flights have resumed at Glasgow Airport after being halted due to heavy snowfall.

The Met Office issued a yellow weather warning on 2 December with teams working though the night.

Travellers have been urged to check to before they travel as disruption is still expected.

And in other news, the new Marks and Spencers in Battlefield is set to open on 6 December.

The convenience store, which will operate as a Food Hall, is expected to bring over 20 new jobs for the local community.
