01:24 In other international developments, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution
01:30 urging Israel to withdraw from the occupied Golan Heights.
01:34 This resolution was supported by 91 nations including India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal,
01:40 China, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and Indonesia.
01:43 The document reiterated the demand for Israel to withdraw to the pre-1967 borders in compliance
01:49 with relevant Security Council resolutions.
01:54 On Tuesday, the UNGA conducted the vote with eight countries including Australia, the United
02:01 Kingdom, the United States, Palau, Micronesia, Israel, Canada and the Marshall Islands voting
02:07 against the resolution.
02:08 Sixty-two countries including Ukraine, France, Germany, Denmark, Belgium, Japan, Kenya, Poland,
02:14 Austria and Spain among others abstained from voting.
