A crane operator has described the dramatic moment he used his skills to rescue a construction worker from the top of a burning building in Reading. Glen Edwards said he felt "a bit of an adrenaline rush" as he lowered a cage onto the roof of the high rise block before he winched the worker to safety as smoke and flames surrounded him. Glen, who has been described as a hero, said he has "had the weekend off to get over it and reflect" on the "surreal" moment.
