Hunter Biden in the Hot Seat: President's Son Will to Testify Publicly Before House Oversight Committee Over Business Dealings
  • 5 months ago
Hunter Biden has agreed to testify publicly before the House Oversight Committee on December 13th regarding his business dealings. Previously, Republicans had subpoenaed him to testify in a closed-door deposition. Hunter Biden's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, sent a letter to the Committee's chair James Comer stating they want the testimony to be public to avoid manipulation of facts. Lowell accused Republicans of having politically motivated hearings to accuse President Biden of wrongdoing, rather than legitimate oversight. The Committee is investigating Hunter Biden and members of the Biden family's business dealings to tie them to the President, but Democrats say this is a political attack.
