After 17 days of ordeal and relentless efforts to rescue the trapped workers, the first worker was successfully rescued from inside the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarakhand. This comes as a major breakthrough in the rescue efforts and marks the beginning of the rescue of the 41 workers trapped since November 12.
